Inventive YA Sci-Fi - Pacific Rim meets Star Wars
My first impression of this book is that it's the science fiction novel that the YA community has been waiting for, for such a long time. The female main character, Noemi, seems to be interesting, gifted in bad-assery and generally everything you want in a female protagonist. The story set up so far reveals an amazing, almost dystopian world, as well as a second protagonist - Abel - who seems to be a very different character
The cover keeps in with the science fiction theme (I particularly like the large looming moon in the background), and I feel like this book has a lot more to offer in the rest of the pages. I can't wait to see how Abel and Noemi meet, and what kind of relationship they form - and I have so many unanswered questions that need to be addressed.
