I didn't enjoy this First Look at all. I can appreciate that Claudia Gray writes well but her style and the story were just not for me. I struggled to read all of the First Look as I simply wasn't interested. Fantasy/Science Fiction has to be quite different and grab me immediately to make me read it and this didn't at all.
The cover is eye catching and it would make me pick it up, I wouldn't be interested after reading the blurb though.
