First of all, this book cover is gorgeous. I honestly sat staring at it for a good ten minutes (maybe longer) before actually opening it. Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book, I hope that this second one would not let me down. I'd fallen in love with the characters from Defy the Stars and I needed more of them. I love the romantic aspect of this story and how it lightens the feel of the science fiction genre. Science fiction is not my usual choice but if you throw in some romance, I'm there. I don't know if I would say I liked it more or as much as the first one, but it definitely built well on what we already knew and I thought the ending was great. I wait (not so patiently) for the next instalment.
