Loved the cover, found it to be a bit confusing as I should have read the first book before reading this, (have got it on order from my local library). Once I got into the story I enjoyed it and found it not to be to heavy going just wish there was a bit more action. The two main characters were engaging but found Simon to be annoying as he just seemed to be a character that maybe gave hope to other mechs. The ending kind of gives the reader an idea of were the next book is going - always good in a series. Wanted a bit more explanation on some of the other characters as they come across as just arriving or just being there .As a genre its not something I would normally read but would read the rest of the series.
