Having read the first book “Defy the stars” and absolutely falling in love, I had high expectations from Grey’s sequel which were met within seconds.
I could not put this book down, and read it in a day.
Unlike “defy the stars” which chose to focus on a single relationship arch, the sequel offered more opportunities to develop each character individually, allowing us as the reader to empathise on a more personal level. With the addition of new faces, it offers a new side to old characters allowing us to meet a new side to them. This is done whilst also developing the already breathtaking relationship between our two protagonists.
The plot also takes us to further, unexplored areas of the universe, allowing Grey to use her magic to create whole worlds for our characters story to unfold within.
