I loved the first book, much more than I had expected and the first look of the second book looks like it will be even more exciting, with even higher stakes, and more of the characters that we have grown to love in the first book.
I am really excited to see how each of the storylines plays out - what decision will the 12 chosen make, to go to Mars, knowing that they may not survive, or to turn back towards Earth, knowing that they will run out of food and water before they're halfway there? I also want to find out what will happen with the storylines on Earth, with Serena's 'daughter' and her bid for vice-presidency. This book is a chilling look at the power money and power have over people and the decisions that people will make selfishly.
