An intriguing start that has me hooked, Distortion has the makings of a great YA sequel. The plotline seems to be moving at a stunning pace, even as the characters are reintroduced (woven well into the narrative) and the finding of the Noah report, along with its implications makes for compelling reading. The villain of the piece seems to be more of a caricature of James Bond villains however she seems to be suitably evil and will make an interesting challenge to our main characters.

I am thoroughly enjoying the concept of the story, however with a love triangle being another conflict for our main character, Leo, I just hope that this does not become the centre piece of the book. I love the fact that there are some science-based elements involved, and that makes for some interesting reading.

The writing style is incredibly engaging, and it is such an easy book to read, as I like each of the characters for their own reasons, and it seems to have some genuinely human elements. There is also the sub-plot with Hope that I think will be equally interesting and I cant wait to read more about.
