Sci-fi is definitely not my genre so I had no expectations of this, especially as I had no idea how the first book went. At first I thought the fact this was book 2 would make it harder to follow the plot yet I found myself getting oddly sucked into it after a tentative first couple of chapters. Love the concept and I would actually be interested in reading on.
