I had read the first of this series, which I loved, as so was very excited to read this; it was not disappointing. Admittedly there are a few different points of views, which means that you may want to skip those chapters in favour of the gripping main story. But the introduction of the new section of their story was wonderful, it's a different setting that is handled well from the beginning and there were many twists that had me quite scared.
The moral dilemma continues and really makes you question both sides, there are pros and cons to both and it really takes you along with the characters and presents you with the question- what would you do? The themes of isolation, morality, and adventure still reign strong, and the romance plot fits well.
It's packed full of twists and turns, I'm not sure how accurate the science is, but the diagrams really illustrate the scene and enable you to picture it vividly.
