I have been out of new dystopian fiction for quite a while, but this was exactly the right thing to re-invigorate my enjoyment for this genre again. I thought that the setting was original, and although there was some scientific references this was not complicated enough to go completely over my head.
To begin, there were quite a few characters to get to grips with, and I would occasionally have to refer back to the first page to remind myself as to which character was which. However, once I got to grips with this I thought they all had distinctive personalities which made for interesting reading.
Overall, I really enjoyed the fast pace of the book, and I thought that the setting made for very original reading. I would recommend this to people who have enjoyed books such as The Hunger Games, the Divergent Series as well as The Maze Runner.
