I was so excited to read this as I really enjoyed the first one; Ascension. So I'm glad that I loved this one!
One of the things I really liked was the multiple POVs, I thought it was really interesting to see the different viewpoints as it was set on Mars and Earth so it was good to see what was happening in each place. Also the setting on Mars is so cool and fun!
I love the illustrations and diagrams as they're really useful in helping to visualise stuff.
I also loved the characters, I wasn't too sure about Leo in the first book but she really grew on me and I think she's so great and strong.
One character I can't stand apart for Serena is Alexei, he is such a misogynistic jerk. He just really irritates me!
It's kinda left on a cliffhanger and I'm dying to read the third book now!
