Was it a page-turner? I was apprehensive that the second book might have lost the momentum that had started in Ascension but I needn’t have feared. It is as gripping as the first book in the trilogy – if not more.
Having read the synopsis, did the book meet my expectations? My expectations came from having loved Ascension. I must say that the synopsis is rather vague.
Did I like the ending? [no spoilers] What a cliff-hanger! Distortion ended with a twist that I didn’t see coming… and now I have to wait months to know what happens next. It’s torture!
Three words to describe it. Gripping. Romantic. Futuristic.
Will I be recommending this book? This series is phenomenal and I would highly recommend it to fans of this genre but not exclusively. I, for one, am an exception as this is out of my usual reading comfort zone.
