I think that this is an amazing book, what a page turner! It was constantly changing (in a good way!) and making me feel all sorts of emotions - I went from laughing to crying in minutes when I read this!
I probably would have enjoyed it a bit more if I'd read Ascension (I bought it without realising it wasn't the first book, the cover just pulled me in!) but I still understood well enough what was going on so it didn't make all that much difference - I had a general idea of what happened in the first book and that, as well as the blurb of this one, was enough for me to figure out what was happening and enjoy the story.
I would definitely recommend this, although you should read the first book before this one!
