Elisabeth Teerlinc is living in Venice and running an art gallery, only that is not her real name and the first thing we see her do in this book is commit murder.
It may not have been what I was expecting but this book did grip me. I haven't read the first in the series but it did have a quick explanation of what had happened which seems to make it completely readable without having read the first.
I like the cover for the book, it is very plain and simple other the the rip in it, which gives the impression of more going on that first meets the eye.
