I am sad to say that amongst the hype of this book, I bought it, found a hard time reading and understanding it and couldn't remember what the story was about. However hard I tried to get into this book, I could only read a few pages at a time. But, not one to give up, I prevailed reading to the end. I was much dossapointed, so much hype and publicity as the next Fifty Shades erotic story, I was non-plussed. I am an avid reader, enjoy reading a range of books, maybe it was just me who didn't get it, however this review is an honest one from me. I am sure there will be other reviewers who thoroughly enjoyed this novel.
In a few years I may try to read the novel again as I hate to give up and come away from a book misunderstanding the story, especially as this novel had such good write-ups in published magazines.
I just didn't connect with the characters or the story but that is just me.
