As the novel starts we are told about the two narratives, Robin and Sarah. Twins who have two very distinctly different personalities but love each other deeply. The novel is told between now and their childhood. It really grabs your attention as there is so much going on in separate lives of the estranged sisters but you can see how things are starting to unravel within their childhood.
