I certainly enjoyed this book more then the author's first one. Although it took me 50 or so pages to get into it, once I was, I was hooked!

This book follows Robin and Sarah, who weren't the closet of twins, but they loved each other dearly. Until they are taken from one another. Robin now lives alone. Suffering from panic attacks, she spends her days house-bound, watching the world from the safety of her sitting room. Until one day, she sees something she shouldn't..... And Sarah? Sarah got what she wanted - a wonderful perfect family. Then a shocking event forces Sarah to leave her beloved home in search of her sister, Robin. But Sarah isn't the only person looking for Robin. As their paths intersect, something dangerous is set in motion, leading Robin and Sarah to fight for much more than their relationship.....

The whole premise of this book fascinated me. I am normally very sceptical of slowly-unravelling plots because many fail to truly interest and grip me. However this book was the exception. The writing of this story had so much depth and the author managed to deliver a compelling plotline that really sensitively explores family dynamics and how they linger into adulthood. And that twist? Certainly didn't see that coming?? Brilliant!

The only thing that rates this book down a little is the ending. While it had a plausible conclusion, I also felt that maybe for some characters, it was a bit rushed? I also think a few minor details of Robin's story wasn't fully explained.
However still a very great book that I really enjoyed and can't wait to read her new book in a few weeks!!
