This was among the best extracts i've read so far from this site, instantly gripping and keeping me hooked throughout. Nice bit of humour to introduce the police, sounds like they are on a stake out, but not for quite the suspect you imagine.
A couple who are keeping a girl behind a bolted bedroom door, they've had her for at least 3 years but for some reason decide they want another - so the dutiful husband heads out to snatch one, meticulously planned he breaks in while they are sleeping and snatches her from her bed with the help of a little chloroform before speeding home with her in his van and introducing her to his wife and other 'daughter'.
Scary how easy he did this, and how the first girl had just settled into her situation, not wanting to displease them - implying something bad happens if they are displeased. Can't wait to find out how the cops get on investigating this disappearance, and who the parents are of the original girl - waiting over 3 years to find out what happened to her.
