Psychological thriller with child abduction at the story's heart
Psychological thrillers are my bag...
Don't Make A Sound has an intriguing storyline - a young girl, called Daisy, living in a family - with her parents - only this isn't her family and she describes her bedroom as a prison. Her 'parents' tell her that she'll be joined by a sister that very night...a girl they've named Poppy.
The parents abduct 'Poppy' from her bed in her own family home, drugging her to silence any noise she may make and take her back to be with Daisy.
Daisy spots the marks on Poppy's arms where the ropes used to tie her up have left an indentation and it reminds Daisy of her own arrival.
But why...what has driven two adults to abduct two children...and can the children escape?
