'Don't Make A Sound' is the first book that i have read by David Jackson and it is an absolutely gripping page turner which i found incredibly difficult to put down.

The main story line involves a seemingly normal couple, Malcolm and Harriet Benson, who have a deep, dark secret involving their 'daughter', Daisy. When the Bensons decide that Daisy needs a little sister six year old poppy vanishes from her bedroom in the middle of the night with no clue as to where she has gone and who might of taken her. The search for the abductors heightens when a second little girl, Ellie, goes missing in the middle of the night. This time Malcolm is fueled with rage which causes him to be less careful in covering his tracks.

Right from the start it's made aware to the reader who the abductor is but this dosn't spoil the enjoyment of the book in anyway. There are still so many questions that dont get answered until much further into the book. Where does Daisy fit in to all of this? Why are they so desperate to take these little girls? and how will this all turn out for not just the girls but also for the Bensons?

I absolutely loved this book and will be keeping a look out for more David Jackson books in the future!
