As soon as I started the first chapter I knew it was going be a good book! I was fitting a quick read in before work and ended up bringing it with me for my lunch break!
I had read the blurb and had a rough idea where it was going but the pace picked up so quickly and more happened than expected. I like that the book was narrated from multiple characters and not one main character. It was difficult to read how a child had actually settled enough to help others and it is not even far fetched in this day and age.
The book was well written. It was well researched in respect the police side of things and just in general.
I will definitely read more from this author now. I’m always on the lookout for new authors and this book has earned him a new reader.
