I don’t usually enjoy crime/ police thriller books but this one was okay. I’m not going to say it was amazing because it wasn’t, it’s not one your likely to remember for the rest of your life but nevertheless it was good.
The story line itself was intriguing and it had a great plot. I won’t give anything away although I feel a lot of other reviews may already have done so, but the twist at the end was very good and clever.
I enjoyed Jackson’s writing style and will definitely have a look at his other books and if he has done any other genres.
The cover itself is nice to look at and does draw you in. That’s definitely something I like in a book. I know to not ‘judge a book by its cover’ but a nice cover does make you want to read the blurb and then hopefully read the book.
