Great opening chapters. A young woman who is a Doctor at an A&E department is attacked in the car park after her shift. Waking up in and unfamiliar part of the hospital and in the presences of an unfamiliar surgeon strapped to a bed and unable to move Alex knows she is in danger. Alex wakes later back on her own familiar ward and is cared for by colleagues but when she tells them the details of her ordeal and the police are informed they are sceptical of Alex's story.
