There are times when you a description of a book and then as you dive in you are looking for the excitement and suspense and don't find it.
This book is just what it says in the description and so much more.
Alex Taylor wakes up on an operating table and is informed of all sorts of unimaginable things that have happened and are to happen. Finding her unconscious in the car park of the hospital she works in,she hysterically tells her story but who believes her?
This is the story of a journey through a number of violent incidents that both implicate and and make you question who Alex is and what is her role in any of this.
The characters that work with Alex or are in a relationship with her open like you are peeling an onion layer by layer but provide more questions than answers.
I particularly disliked her boyfriend Patrick,he is so well written and Nathan is such an maverick charachter too.
This is well written, a page turner and a must read. It is pacy, intriguing, exciting and well thought out.
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the chance to review. Liz Lawler writes a brilliant book.
