An intriguing read from the moment I opened this! It's brilliantly written, being sensitive to a crime that's been committed, and creates an atmosphere of mystery that makes me want to understand what has happened during the attack and more importantly why! This book is really easy to read, it's captivating and realistic. As many would know, often crimes, and some of the most traumatic of crimes, aren't believed, especially when there's a last of evidence. This book focuses on that which creates a realistic, emotional and mysterious atmosphere. You can easily connect with the main character who seems down to earth and has her life together until this attack occurs and it begins to fall apart. Definitely a book I want to read on and finish!
