I thought this book had quite a good, well developed plot. I was hooked right from the beginning, and i could not put the book down! I was urging for someone to believe poor Alex, what she went through at the beginning in the operation theatre is my worst nightmare, so that pulled on my heart strings a little. The way it is cleverly written ensures that you can't really trust anyone as the novel progresses and this is pushed further with the many twists and turns that keep you hanging on every page. The reason i gave it 4/5 stars is simply because it was a little predictable in some places, and i won't lie the things he does to rats is just a little weird. I see why the author did it, i just don't really think it worked in the way they assumed it would in the novel.
Overall, i would recommend this book. It is a nice easy read filled with mad twists and turns, with an interesting end!
