The premise for this is fantastic and so incredibly terrifying. Reading the beginning of this made me feel so unbelievably uncomfortable and I had to go round the house and make sure all my doors were locked! However, it just slowly unravelled into a slightly ridiculous storyline that left me feeling disappointed. Our main character is a strong and incredibly talented doctor, yet everyone points the blame at her, despite it making zero sense! I just switched off at this point, and focused on finishing the book. The ending wasn’t the best either, as it just seemed rushed and anticlimactic. I didn’t manage to guess the twist though, which is a great change as I always do in these sort of books.
