I'm clearly not the target market, and I don't have kids (or know any) but this book seems like a lovely book for bedtime, with the soft-tone images and the gentle words as the animal kingdom falls asleep.
I loved the illustrations too and if read in the right way I'm sure will have them asleep in no time.
