I like to have books at home for when my great grandchildren come to visit. I found this book to be excellent when at the end of the day when you want the little ones to slow down and relax before bedtime, this was a perfect book.
While reading to them I found I also benefited as we were spending precious time together and having meaningful discussions about the animals on each page.
Each page is colourful and although there are not too many words, there is plenty to talk about, where the animals are and what kind of day we thought they had and each page had a peaceful ending
I feel it's so important to introduce books to children from an early age. They can learn so much from them. All in all I would recommend this book to any parent, grandparent or anyone that works with children. A perfect bedtime book to not only relax the children but yourselves as well.
