I like the idea of introducing mindfulness to children and helping to put things in place to help them with their mental health as they grow older. I’m not sure as to what age group this would be for. Not necessarily one you would read to your little one below the age of one. The pictures and colours are very inviting and appeasing to the eye. I feel like there could have been more of a story to it. Seemed quite basic and mainly just focusing on the breathing. I know the breathing aspect of it is important and probably one of the main things in the book, but I feel they could have incorporated it better in a story. More description. For example: close your eyes what sounds can you hear? The leaves rustling, birds tweeting, cars going by? What can you hear? Listen and breathe. I have done meditation myself for years, and it’s always helpful to have a bit more of a guide when you start doing it.
