A slowly comforting book easy to read at the end of the day. I read this to my class of 3/4 years old and they were really quiet and attentive whilst I read it. I must of hit a lovely relaxing note as one child went to sleep! Seriously though I would read this to a child in a relaxing atmosphere at bedtime or sleep time. It takes you to a wonderful world of the jungle and the animals that live there, it shows the day beginning and how the day ends. I love th e illustrations in it which I have to say are beautifully done and appealed to my small group of children. Buy this book as a gift or for your young child it won’t disappoint and it will be a favourite I’m sure! It has been a favourite since I put it on my bookshelf and it has been requested frequently from my little ones. They call it the jungle book one! A lovely book full of good characters and a feel good story!
