Oh my! This book is simply divine. First the idea behind the story is something children and adults should do more of. The words are simple, calming and almost poetic, I felt that I was hearing it from a mediation taping and felt my eyes automatically close and my breathing slowing whilst reading. It was lovely how each animal was set in their own environment and some were of parent and child helping families to sit and read this together. The illustrations were simple yet striking down to even the reflections being on point. I loved this book for myself as a adult and am going to pass this on to a friend whom is a head teacher for their school as this book needs to be shared and work should be done in school teaching children what mindfulness is and how they can do this for themselves and be a part of the school day. I loved this book and thank you.
