The cover of this book is very lovely illustrated, and it looks really interesting. The pictures are brightly coloured with a variety of familiar animal characters including a lion, an eagle, a leopard, two elephants, a group of seals, a whale, a parrot, a monkey, a rhino, two giraffes and two turtles. Each page brings a different way of clearing the mind and preparing the body for rest and relaxation. Gentle breathing exercises and with a few lines of story to each animal works perfectly as a bed time read, although I don't think that this helped my child, as she is not interested in mindfulness, she is also autistic so this is probably why it didn't work. But on the whole I like the books way of teaching breathing exercises and relaxing and calming reading. The book made me relax whilst I was reading and breathing along with the story. Worth a read
