I found this book so relaxing to read with my daughter. The illustrations are beautiful and it is wonderfully written. What a great way to sit down and have a bit of a relax time with your little one. Follow the animals as you take a trip down the river and say goodnight to each and every one of them. My daughter loves animals and she really enjoyed seeing the different animals in the story. My daughter is too young to understand the mindfulness behind it at the moment, but I'm sure that as she gets older, this will be a brilliant choice for a relaxing read before bed time. She understands about saying goodnight to things, so this made for a good choice before bedtime, along with her saying goodnight to all of her cuddly toys, she was able to say goodnight to the animals in the story too. I would recommend this as a good cuddle read before bed with toddlers.
