I read this book to my 2 year old. He is a little bit young to join in with the breathing and even shouted 'no breathe in mummy!' that said the book kept him interested until the end.
The images are very pretty and he enjoyed looking at all the pictures. There is also a nice range of animals including turtles and whales which are form favourites in this family so were very popular choices.
This book is clearly aimed for younger children but I think two was too young, three or four would probably be more appropriate, that said I think there is enough if a draw that this book can grown with him and hopefully with time the mindfulness exercises will happen.
