I haven't read Lisa Genova before, but like her writing style - it'll be very easy to get drawn into this and just keep reading. The characters seem real, flawed, angry and adjusting to Richard's illness is going to be tumultuous for both them and their relationship. I genuinely don't know if this is a book I'll come to love, but having read the first look, I will be seeking out some of her other books to try.

I probably wouldn't pick the book up on the basis of the cover alone. Apart from the musical theme, it doesn't seem to be giving me much feel for the tone or content of the book.
