Loved the cover, nice quirky design.

Now I've given this 3 stars for one reason, from the first impression this seems to be a very well written book exploring the tragedy caused by the disease ALS and how it affects both the sufferer and those around them.

Told from the perspective of an ex-wife of a famous pianist who finds out at a party her ex has had to give up playing due to contracting this illness the writing and characters all made it seem real and plausible and you can definitely connect to them.
I got the sense the author has taken time to research and plan this book so as to be sensitive but not focus on the toll it takes but more on the interactions.

The main character seems a bit mean? and the two of them certainly don't get on. This proves to be an interesting dynamic if it continues, it doesn't seem to be angling towards the caring "actually I still love him" angle , but more how the effects of a scenario such as this can play out in real life, and how people react differently to events out side of their control(or interest).

It's not my cup of tea but I think if you like this type of story you will like this book as I could appreciate the characters and believe-ability enclosed in just this section .
