First off, I LOVE the cover. It's pretty. It's simple. The bright blue cover, with the touch of piano on the front to indicate the involvement of music.

"Every Note Played" Follows the life of a worldwide famous musician and his diagnosis of ALS. The book also follows his ex-wife who aggrees to care for him as his condition worsens.

With the subject matter the book follows, Its definitely a very difficult read and hard hitting. It was also quite hard to get through as I didn't find either of our main characters very likeable.

With that being said, the book has made me aware of the disease, how quickly it progresses and the difficulty of living with it.

It was written really well, and if you're into this type of book I think it could definitely be up there and be a good read but unfortunately just wasn't for me. Worth a try to see if it's for you though.
