I really loved reading this story of Every Note Played by Lisa Genova and unlike many readers I didn't get round to reading Still Alice So this is one reason that I really wanted to read Every Note Played as I missed Still Alice. One thing that I can clearly see is that Lisa Genova researchers every subject that she writes about. Another reason I wanted to read Every Note Played is because about six years ago I tried to learn how to play the piano and it was too complicated for me to remember exactly where the keys were. But I would love room for a piano just to sit and look at. The very sad part of this book is that an accomplished concert pianist Richard has to cancel a a gig with tendinitis. Even though he's suffering twitching he is adamant that it's a temporary problem. Unfortunately Richard is diagnosed with ALS Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, which is a disease which certain nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord slowly die. The nerve cells are called motor neurone they control the muscles that allow you to move parts of your body. ALS is also called Lou Gehrig's disease. I'm very happy to recommend Every Note Played.
