This book is about a world-famous musician, who gets ALS, meaning he can no longer play the piano and his ex-wife who agrees to look after him.
The book covered incredibly deep topics which is to be expected since the nature of this book is to do with ALS. This book is different from the things I normally read but was incredibly thought-provoking and heart-warming. It was well written and Lisa Genova discussed ALS beautifully. However, I was not able to connect to the characters very well.
I understood the difficulty of struggling with illness and having to look after someone who is struggling and it really made me think. However, I could not connect to these characters and so this book just wasn't for me.
