What a heartbreaking story, I actually cried reading this. Richard struggles to come to terms with the loss of his body due to ALS. His story is so heartfelt you can’t help but love this book.
Karina, Richard’s ex-wife, blames him for their divorce. She feels guilty when Richard is diagnosed so offers to be his carer.
The other character is Grace- you don’t hear much from her but can tell she is Richards world.
The end of this novel is heartbreaking and you can’t help feeling for all the charchters in this book. It’s nice Karina gets to start a fresh in the end, it’s just so sad. This book should come with a ‘You will need some TLC and tissues after reading this’ warning. Even so, I would definitely recommend it.
