I wasn't sure how 'Boy's own' this was going to be, but I have to admit ot drew me in and I could not put it down.
The action follows on from the previous book "Nomad", which I have not read, but it is a story in it's own right,. Marc Dane is now working for a branch of Europol after a favour has been pulled in to accommodate him. His boss has assigned him what seems busy work of monitoring two brothers that sells guns, but also run scams involving 'red mercury'. When Marc sees something out of the ordinary and very worrying his boss doesn't believe him and takes the opportunity to relieve him of his job. Marc turns to some old friends to track this and so begins the chase through Africa and Europe.
A good paced thriller, believable and totally unbelievable in equal parts.
