So far, I have only read the 'First Look', but this book is already really intriguing. As you read, you learn more about the main character, such as the fact that she is currently single, poor and gave up her daughter for adoption fifteen years ago. When their daughter runs away from home, the adoptive parents come to her asking for help and whether or not their daughter has contacted her in an effort to find her biological mother, but she has not. I cannot wait to read this book and find out more about the narrator, her life, her daughter and why she has run away from her rich, adoptive parents. This book is a mystery of more than one kind, with missing teenagers, worried parents, and people with pasts they would much rather leave behind...
