The first look is sinister, claustrophobic and very well written. There are twists and shocks even in the first few pages, and lots of unanswered questions that make you want to find out more about how the characters came to be in such situations, and how they will live their lives going forward.
I imagine this would be the kind of book you'd read in one sitting, unable to put it down.
