I've not read any Karin Slaughter yet, but I have to say that this does look like a good read. I think the cover suggests that this is a crime novel that might be quite frightening. It gives off horror movie vibes. I probably wouldn't rush to read this as it's not my sort of go-to read, but I would read it if given the opportunity through a friend or the library.
