The cover didn't really draw me in to be honest; it's not something I'd usually even pick up, it looks gloomy and dark and as far as I know from the first pages I've read, doesn't relate to the story (although of course this could change). However, I gave it a chance and I'm glad i did, I need to know what happens next! I already care abut the characters and I've only read 20 pages or so which I would say highlights how good this story is likely to be. I feel it lulls you in to a false sense of security and then the real plot is unveiled and assumptions you've already made are completely shattered. It looks to be one of those books you spend up all night reading because you just can't bear to sleep not knowing what's going to happen.
