My very first impression was that the author chose a terrible name for the little boy - Trevor. It reminds me of two things: the leader of the scout group I used to go to who was extremely creepy; and that one scene from After We Collided the movie. This genre of book is also not my cup of tea so I wouldn't continue to read it.
