The author certainly knows how to write gory and indepth descriptions of events. With violence, murder, child molesting and brutal rapings this book is not for the faint hearted. With the countries drug crisis , kids on the streets that are starving , the pandemic and terrible deaths it is certainly not a book to continue with if you are prone to nightmares. I must admit I found the book to be hard going but persev ered to a point where I was definately glad to get to the end but I always try to give books a fair read, although I am not sure I would readily pick up another book by this author. It is the first and only book that I have read about the covid pandemic and it is sometimes difficult to read the actual happenings of the past year and a half. Although this is not just the story ! It is also a crime thriller with twists and turns to keep you wondering....;just be warned ....this might not be a book for everyone
