I have previously read and loved several Karin Slaughter books so I was over the moon to receive this as an ARC! The book kept me guessing at every twist and turn and did not disappoint with the thrills! It was a brilliant storyline, showed a dysfunctional family dynamic and added in a good old mystery as well as a bit of gritty gore! I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and the suspense of the book made sure I didn’t put it down until it was finished. I did not see where it was heading either which is what I love about a Karin Slaughter!
I genuinely hope there is more to come of these types of books as I enjoy them each and every time they're released to get my crime thriller fix going forward. Really do recommend this book for people like me who love to get stuck into a gripping intense book with lots of twists that will keep you guessing until the very last page - go and read this!
