I particularly enjoy a Karin Slaughter novel so was incredibly excited to get my hands on this. The story gripped me right from the very first few pages and had me completely hooked throughout.
We meet Leigh Collier, she’s a defence attorney, leading an average normal life but her past is far from normal. When a high profile case lands on her desk, not only is it the biggest case of her career but also one that threatens to make her past and present collide with dramatic consequences. Leigh has only one person that can help, her sister Callie but is she prepared to ask for the help and the complications that come with it.
